Girl Online On Tour: A review

Hello there,

So as the title to this blog post suggests I've just read girl online. Not only did I read the book I read it all in a day. As I write this I have literally just put the book down after refusing to do so for a fair few hours of my day. For me that shows me that a book is good. If I am that into the book for me not to put it down it must be great!

There's something about Zoe's books that do this to me, I read Girl online in one day last year and absolutely loved it. I don't quite know what it is about these books but they must have some magical powers because it's been a very long time since I've been this into a book series. I just want more!

I think it's the story lines how a ordinary girl like 'penny' can be completely in love with rockstar 'Noah' and for him to feel the exact same. It's what we dream of. I think as well for me the books help, in a way. At the end of last year I was told that I had IBS triggered by anxiety and I thought it was total rubbish. This year however I have come to the realisation that actuall the anxiety isn't rubbish and yes I may feel completely sick to my stomach I can't let it stop me from living my life. And well Zoe's books (and well her general person) proves that you can keep going and you can achieve your dreams, ones you might not have even realised was possible.

I think I'll leave it there or this blog post will be stupidly long and I'll start rambling.

Up Close and Personal Tour (Diversity)

Hello there,

Diversity what can I say? A bunch of amazingly talented inspirational people who leave me stuck for words each time I see them.

Having seen them for twice before tonight I thought I'd seen everything and that nothing could surprise me. But man was I wrong. Not only was this years show personal and told us the boys stories it made me think about my own life. How a bit like Perri I was the shy, quiet kid at school who was bullied and who has finally started to find her voice because of the job she does and loves.

I was surprised at myself when I teared up and even cried at a couple of the dances the boys did, I never thought in my wildest dreams that watching someone dance could move me so much. But then again I never thought that dance could tell a story and the Limitless tour proved that one wrong.

The whole show was entertaining and powerful. You could really tell how much work has been put into making the show a reality and it was amazing! That's the only word I have to describe it because even now writing this two hours later I'm still stuck for words on how I could possibly describe what they do. It's simply stunning.

So now I'm going to sleep with a smile on my face knowing that I've seen the people who make me aspire to be better and to achieve my dreams. Because as their motto says 'Dream, Believe, Achieve' and I can't wait to book tickets for the 2017 tour!

Advent Calander

Hello there,

As a project to keep my self busy and to try and be at some level creative I decided that this year I would create my own advent Calander. In the past I've always had a chocolate shop baught one but as I'm not supposed to eat chocolate I thought for this year I can make my own! I can choose what it looks like, what's inside and how many days it's goes for (I loved the ones that gave you a big chcocolate on Christmas).

I did quite a bit of research into different approaches and then decided to do it my own way because the tutorials looked very confusing. I was going to use toilet roll tubes squashed to make pouches (one of the many online ideas) but then as I began looking for decorations for the pouches I found something better! Little envelops just big enough to fit a little gift to myself in, and only £1 for 12 (I do love the works) so I ordered them as well as decorations and began decorating.

I found it so fun to decorate the pouches and tried to make each one different.  I decorated them all before getting out my sharpies (28 pack from Tesco £7 bargin!) and putting numbers on each.

The hardest part I have found is choosing what to pu in my 'days' so far I have a collection of sweets, which is brilliant, but with the 1st of December looming I still have 9 empty pockets that I need to fill and no idea what to fill them with!

I do however have my number 25 which was really an excuse to get a present from myself to myself and that is Sprinkle of Glitters 2016 diary. I adore Louise and really wanted it and we'll at just under £4 why not?

I can't wait to start opening my little pockets and enjoying the Christmas spirit that is sure to flood everywhere even more at the beginning of December.

What about you... Are you like Buddy the Elf or Scrooge?

A Boring Day

Hello There,

What an exciting day I've had... The sarcasm in that sentence is overpowering.

As Christmas is approaching money is needed to buy the copious amounts of presents required, not only is there the usual suspects of parents and siblings, grandparents and friends I now have two secret Santa gifts to buy, a 2 year olds Christmas and birthday present, a baby's first Christmas present and of course I can't forget my sisters puppy now can I?
So here I am working away everyday that I can at wherever will have me. 4 days at nursery and then my day off like today busy working with my mum at an accountants. It's thrilling work... Not!

I absolutely hate it there's not much that I can actually do as I'm not qualified and my maths isn't that brilliant, I mean a B at GCSE is pretty good but not the standard to work here, so I spend my days filing and cleaning all the stuff the other people don't have time to do and the only redeeming feature? The £5.20 and hour I get for doing it. But in the words of Tesco every little helps especially at this time of year!

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?

Shopping Trip!

Hello There,

If there's one thing in this world that I can honestly say I hate and not feel bad is shopping! I hate shopping.  so when my sister said 'Leigh fancy coming to Meadowhall' I have not idea why I agreed! 5 hours and bags later we finally got in the car to go home, and me? I had bought things form only one shop... Primark! So here's the grand total of my 5 hours shopping.

Some new boots for when it snows and I have to walk home from work!

Some new black socks... for work.

Some new work trousers as the knees in mine are worn down.

A new scarf and matching gloves to keep me nice and toasty.

A lovely cable knit jumper that I cant wait to wear.

Some new more waterproof work shoes for this lovely rain we're having.

And another lovely simple jumper with some pretty buttons on the back.

I can conclude that even though Primark was the best part of the day I cant shop, my aim was to get some winter clothes and although I did succeed it was mostly things for work. Oops! Looks like I'll end up on another shopping trip at some point!

Bucket List Update!

Hello there,

It has been 9 months now since I wrote my ‘bucket list’ and I thought what better way to reflect on the year so far than a nice little update!

1)    Learn to drive – I have begun this one and have been having lessons for about three months, it’s something I knew I’d always have to do and after a wobbly start I am thoroughly enjoying it. I can’t wait to pass now!

2)    Own a car – I have seen two cars that I quite liked the look of but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be L I do have an idea now on what kind of car I would like and have begun saving up so hopefully by the time I pass my test I will have enough to buy a car.

3)    Have a job - There have been two opportunities at the place I work for some more regular and guaranteed hours but unfortunately I haven’t been successful. I’m not too disheartened though as I am working loads at the minute.

4)    Go Abroad – In a way I am one step further I have decided that I would quite like to go to Italy or Disney land Paris but maybe not just yet!

5)    Meet Ameerah – This one is definitely going to happen and I have started saving for the trip to London.

6)    See Sam Smith Live – I am no closer with this one as of yet.

7)    Watch every episode of Friends – I have started watching them but have only managed the first disc of the box set.

8)    Do the race for life – I signed up and walked the 5k on 19/07/15 it was so much fun and everyone was so lovely, I shall keep my medal forever!

9)    Learn sign language – I am no further with this one and would really like to find a way of doing it as it would be really useful!

10) Own a Polaroid camera – I have been looking but as I am saving for a car and London have refrained from buying one.

Not many things can be crossed off of the list but who knows in another 8 months I might just be able to wipe at least two more off!

A fundraising flop!

Hello there,

Since joining my local girl guiding group I have partaken in some fundraising activities to keep our groups open and to also help those less fortunate than ourselves.  Recently I had the opportunity to plan and run a summer fayre and boy was it stressful!

I spent months planning, organising and thinking of ideas. I had the girls come up with themes, had them making bunting and posters advertising how much each stall was, I sent letters to the parents asking kindly for donations and their girls help at the fayre. Weeks scouring pound shops and Facebook selling pages looking for some cheap bargains that could be sold on or used as prizes, I made posters to stick around the village and made sure we’d got enough raffle tickets to sink a ship!

We had plenty of stalls, some run by the brownies (well the 6 that turned up) including:

·         A raffle

·         Toiletries tombola

·         Gift tombola

·         Hook a duck

·         Cakes

·         Refreshments

·         A £1 stall

·         Guess the name of the teddy

·         Guess the number of sweets in the jar

And more and still the day didn’t go as well as we planned.  The turnout was awful with hardly anyone coming during the two hours in which we were open, loads of things were left over at the end and a chunk of what we made had to go on rent.  We raised £170 which is brilliant considering how the day went and will definitely go to keeping rainbows and brownies open in the village but it was rather disheartening that hardly any parents/ brownies came and that nobody really seemed all that bothered.  I think our next one will probably be Christmas but I’m not quite sure if I want to plan another that soon!

Has anyone got any tips?

Till next time

Another Weekend Away (26/06/15-29/06/15)

Hello There,

I have been very lucky lately in that I have had two weekends away in a row, this is an unfamiliar but welcomed occurrence.  this time I went to Saltfleet and stayed in a caravan with my mum and dad. it was a lovely holiday park and my parent even joked about buying a caravan there! There was a downfall however... no phone signal! Even though I tried my best I couldn't connect to anyone which proved to make the nights boring.

We travelled to the park on Friday after I finished work and instantly went to the chippy down the road as we were rather hungry! I didn't really enjoy the chips as we had been travelling for two hours and I felt a little bit travel sick.  we then sat for a while watching the TV (once we had it working) before unpacking some of our things and then going to bed.

On Saturday we took a day trip to Cleethorpes.  It was extremely busy here as it was armed forces day and a lot was going on.  There was a parade and displays that were really interesting and we even got to see a tank up close! As exciting as it was I didn't enjoy it too much as there was way to many people for my liking (not good in crowds oops).  I certainly felt relieved when dad said he wanted to go back to the caravan.

On the Sunday we spent the day in Mablethorpe, my favourite place on that coast, it has kind of become tradition that me and dad spend a day there every year.  We had a nice chilled day walking round the shops, playing crazy golf (I won!!) and going in the arcades.  I loved the arcade as we found one that gave you tickets and I kept winning lots!  Then after the arcade it was back to the caravan to pack up things we wouldn't need overnight or in the morning.

Monday came and it was back to reality, the car was packed up and we left making our way home for me to go to work that afternoon.  it was a bit gutting as it was a lovely day and none of us wanted to leave.

The Vamps (20/06/15)

Hello There,
As mentioned in my last post I recently saw the Vamps at Scarborough Open Air Theatre. It was my first ever time going to this venue and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't expected it to be the best experience as there is a lake between the stage and seats, but it was amazing, especially as it was outdoors but you still had seats, which turned out great as the sun decided to come out for the concert so it got a bit warm. The gates opened about half an hour before the gig started so we had chance to get a drink and get comfy before the first act came on.

Hometown
These were the first support act of the night and were absolutely amazing! I found them about a month ago when booking another concert and instantly fell in love with their music and well them.  I enjoyed every song and got some very funny looks for singing along to their own songs, not that I minded as I absolutely love this band.
Bit blurry but I love this band!!

The Tide
I wasn't that excited to see these as I had also looked them up and didn't think they'd be that great. They surprised me however as they were amazing. My favourite part was definitely their cover of 'shut up and dance with me' that we happened to hear as they were sound checking.

The Tide- well two of.
Union J
I absolutely love union j so they were just amazing!! There's not really much more that I can say other than I love them! I was super happy too because George was actually there for a change, he's  been ill the last two times I saw him!

Josh was there too but I haven't got a picture of all of them :(
The Vamps
The Vamps were amazing as you can imagine they sung all there amazing songs plus some brilliant covers. They covered My Chemical Romances 'teenagers' and Sum 41s .... It was brilliant. The encore was even more amazing as they came out and slowed down a song before speeding it back up again.

Encore!!
The Vamps!!
If it was up to me I would happily go and see this exact concert again as it was that amazing! Here's to the next concert!

A Weekend Away (20/06/15-21/06/15)

Hi There,

As from the title of this blog you can probably tell that I've had some time to myself and have been away for the weekend with my best friend, my sister and her boyfriend. We went to Scarborough and stayed overnight in a hotel on the north bay side. There's not loads to do on this side but I was going to Scarborough Open Air Theatre to see The Vamps as it was my birthday present (a separate blog will follow for the concert). We made the most of our time and had a wonderful weekend despite the rain that seemed to follow us wherever we went.

We made the two hour journey and checked into our hotel straight away, me instantly getting changed as I was dressed for warm summery weather, which is not at all what we were met with. And then headed off on the search for some food, this turned out to be a fair struggle however as there was only one restaurant, which was fairly expensive, and a fish and chip shop, which was packed. We carried on walking down the sea front past some very pretty looking beach huts and found ourselves at the sea life centre.

I love these beach huts!
The sea life centre was good but for what was there was very over priced, we were very looking to have two adult goes free vouchers from the side of Kellogg's cereal boxes, I've been collecting these for my London trip next year. We headed for food as soon as we got in an were very disappointed by what we had. Three of us had burgers and they were not very nice to say the least. Then we headed off walking round the centre looking and reading about all different fish. And sea life. We then entered the penguin part where you literally got to walk through the enclosure, that was pretty cool!
Then we headed to the seals where one seemed to be sunbathing even though there was not sun and another was showing off spraying water everywhere.
After that we were done and headed to Crazy Golf, which we got free entry too from our Sea Life Tickets. It certainly wasn't easy but at least I didn't come last!
The Sea Life Center.

After we'd finished at Sea Life we decided to go for a walk. This walk turned out to be much longer than I had anticipated and we ended up walking up to Scarborough castle and all around that (for anyone who doesn't know Scarborough castle is on the other side to sea life and up two massive hills). I can't say as I was too amazed when we got there as I am not a massive fan of history and quite a lot of it had been destroyed in war. Then it was time to head back down to the concert.

A panorama from the castle.
Sunday was a lot more chilled for us, my sisters boyfriend driving us to the other side where we got some waffles, which were really nice, and played in an arcade for ages. We won lots of tickets! And put them all together to get multiple prizes. We the. Did a bit of shopping buying the usual rock for everyone and some 'thanks for looking after the dog' fudge for my mum and dad. Then decided we'd head back as there wasn't much more to do and we were all very tired.

It was a lovely weekend and I'd love to go back again for the weekend as it was really fun.

Time…

Hello there,

Time…

There never seems to be enough of it, some days it drags others its gone in the blink of an eye, but time doesn’t speed up or slow down it’s a constant.  The hours of a day, the minutes, the seconds they’re all the same day in day out so why does it feel like days go quicker when others are moving at a painful snail’s pace?

I’ve discovered recently that as much as it seems like there’s no time, there’s always time.  I’ve been having a lot of hours at work, whilst also planning activities for our local Brownie group and turning party planner into fundraising planner whilst learning to drive and I can honestly say I’ve never felt this tired in my whole life.  I’ve been neglecting things I love as I ‘don’t have enough time’ but is that really the case? I can still write down my thoughts and feelings on a subject, I can still watch my favourite you tubers I just have to use the time in between all the other things that take up the most time.  I have a 40 minute bus journey twice each day that I’m working, surely I could use that time more effectively… maybe I could write using that time, I have a phone that types so why not?

There’s so many quote about time and how we should use it wisely as it’s something we can never have back.  If we all knew how much time we had left would we live our lives differently? Maybe that’s something I should think about… if this was my last day on this earth what would I want to have done in the time I did have? What do I want to see before the times gone? I should think of these things and make it happen and I suppose in a way I am, the bucket list I mentioned and posted a blog about is in a way my planning of time, its pushing me to do things I probably would have left till later.  I’ve started driving lessons, have started saving up for my trip to London and got back to something I love, writing, who knows what the future holds or how much time I have left.  All I know is that I want to use this time in the best ways I can!

Birthday's

Hello there,

As children we look forward to birthdays, to the cake, the presents and the partys but as you get older some of the magic is lost. We hit an age somewhere in the teens where you couldnt care less any more and then, for most, when drinking can come in partys are amazing and the best thing in the world. I've realised watching family that after 40 birthdays arent that exciting and most feel lucky to pass it.

Last week it was my grandads 80th birthday and as we dont know how many more he'll have, he has alzhiemers and seems to be ill alot at the moment, we decided to throw him a party. I turned party planner and got to work making it the best day ever.

I made invites and sent them out, decorated the house with loads of banners and old photos, i blew up 20 balloons turning my hands blue as the colour came out, ordered the cake and baked lotsof goodies. All in the weeks leading upto it. I had plans on how my week would go in the week before and had my plans drastically changed when i worked every day. It certainly made it harder!

The party startef at 4pm my grandad arriving first with family from Lincoln travelling to come and see us arriving next. It was certainly interesting to see family I've never met before! Then the hours went on with a total of we think 50 people in the house at one time. It was manic and loud but amazing at the same time. My grandad smiled and chatted the whole time as we all did the last people leaving at ten past one in the morning. It was certainly a long day!

It made me realise though whilst we were all together that there's nothing more important in life than family and friends and creating memories with these loved ones because even though you might not remember everything as you get older the memories are still there, the photos, the cards and the love! Its re enforced my love of taking photos and for that i am grateful for the party. Now if i could just catch up on sleep that would be lovely!

Concerts

Hello there,

I have become quite the concert goer the past few years.  I will always remember my first concert The Wanted at Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall and how scared I was of going.  I was frightened we'd be sat up high and that the music would be too loud as I am not good with loud noises.  We were sat up quite high but our view was amazing! I just wish I had a better camera when we went because my pictures weren't that great.

This was the best one I got.

I also realised at that concert that Ugg boots were not the best shoes to wear. My feet got soo hot from all my boogying! I have never made that mistake again.

Since then I have been to so many concerts that at a guess without checking my tickets and everything must be verging on 30 concerts since 2011, twelve of them being last year alone.  I am often asked why I enjoy concerts so much and why I go to so many and 'waste' all my money. I always give the same answer. 'Because its something I enjoy.' But having actually sat and thought about it I now realise that I enjoy concerts so much because I can be me.  In that arena or room or even outdoor space that I am watching someone or multiple people perform I can be myself.  The people there are like minded, they have the same music taste, they enjoy the same bands as me. I'm with people who wont judge me because I like Lawson, who wont poke fun at me because I like One Direction.  I also find that when I'm there in the moment, for the two hours or so that I am at a concert watching my favourite artists, I can forget about everything else.  anything that's worrying me or that's going on can be forgotten and I can live in the moment and just enjoy it.  I think this is why I take so many pictures whilst I'm there, videos too (although most of my videos have my terrible singing on them) so that I can relieve the moments where I felt the most happy and in place.

I have found too that I can make friends and talk to people easier at concerts, whether that be us laughing at each other for crying the whole way through (The Wanted's last tour) or just chatting about anything and starting a conversation. Its brilliant and I hope that this never changes.  I have 3 more booked for the rest of this year at the minute and I am excited for each and everyone of them. Blog posts will definitely follow those. But for now I shall leave you with my favourite photos I have taken from concerts.

Catch you next time

Making Friends Online

Hello there,

We're all taught when little never to talk to strangers, even more so on the internet.  But how are we supposed to make friends if we don't talk to strangers, at one point in our lives the people we call friends have all been strangers and those conversations had whilst not really knowing them lead to a lovely friendship. So is talking to strangers so bad?  Ok on the internet we have to be super careful, the people we think we're talking to may in fact be someone completely different, is it worth the risk?

I began talking to a girl called Ameerah 4(ish) years ago when I was added into a BBM group that she was apart off.  Everyone in the group all got along and added each other, I talked to many of the girls in the group and thought it was great that you could make friends from different places. I carried on talking to Ameerah where the other people seemed to fade away and we became friends.  Then it was time to say goodbye to the shitty blackberry I had for a new phone meaning no more BBM.  Luckily we had each other on Twitter and talked regularly through there before we gave each other our numbers.   Since then we have talked pretty much everyday and I now regard her as one of my best friends, we talk about anything and everything and its great to know you have a friend there for you even though they are 200 or so miles away.

Now I know what your thinking how can you be sure she says who she says she is? And that's true, if it hadn't have been for us Skyping and face timing each other I might still be asking myself that after watching Catfish.  But I'm pretty sure she is in fact Ameerah and not some random guy preying on girls.  I am that sure that Ameerah is Ameerah that I am hopefully going to meet her next year as kind of my 21st birthday celebrations. I cant wait to meet this person that I have so much in common with and who has always been there and to actually get to know her more.  I can only imagine it will be a fun filled trip as we are meeting kind of half way in London, a place I've always wanted to go too.

And who knows maybe I'll meet the other friends I've made online someday?

Top Ten 6

Hello There,

So this one is Top Ten artists i want to see live this one again isn't quite finished as the last three i haven't got people for. I am very lucky to be able to go to the amount of concerts i do but theres still those people i wish i could see.

1. Sam Smith
I love Sam Smith and thinkhe would be an amazing artist live although i feel i'd just be stood crying if i ever did see him.

2. Alex Goot
It has been a dream of mine to see Alex live for so many years but whenever he's toured in England i have never been able to go as he hasn't come close enough.

3. Boyce Avenue
Again I've wanted to see these for a long time but the inability to travel at the minute makes this rather hard as they dont come close enough.

4. Michael Bublé
I love this fellow and his voice gives me goosebumps every time i see him live on TV. He has been close enough for me to see him but only announced the concert the day before so it was impossible to sort going. One day though!

5. Rixton
I almost booked tickets for these this year but i am on a limited concert allowance to save up to go to London next year, so even though i wanted to see them so bad it'll be worth it (or at least thats what I'm telling myself.)

6. 5 Seconds of Summer
I have technically already seen these twice as a support act and a show where there was loads of acts but i really want to see them at there own show. Tickets just sell out a bit too quick for these!

7. Ella Henderson
Again already seen her but she only did three songs, the three songs we're amazing and made me really want to see her at her own concert!

8.

9.

10.

So theres my list of people who i would like to see, this list used to be sooo much longer and included Olly Murs, The Script and Ed Sheeran but i have been incredibly lucky to be able to go and see these so hopefully i can see all these 8. Who would you like to see?

Top Ten day 5

Hello There,

So this one i cant really call a Top Ten as i found it really difficult to choose the last three and have ended up leaving them blank. So here is my not quite Top Ten favourite books.

1. Hush Hush Series
I loooove these books and would love too see them made into films, although the image in my head for one of the main protagonists would be hard to cast I think because of how he is described. But these are definitely worth the read.

2. Girl Online
I love this book and read it in a day, i always know when I've picked up a good book if I can read it that quick! I really loved the story line and the twists you dont see coming. I also love how the book highlights things such as anxiety and helps to widen peoples understanding of such things.

3. Divergent Series
I love these books and am currently reading the last one in the series, alligent. I started reading these at the beginning of the year as a resolution to read more but work kind of got in the way. I love the story lines and think they're great!

4. Hunger Games Series
I love the Hunger Games and i must say i much prefer the books. Books for me are great because you're imagination gets to shine through as you in vision what the characters look like and for me the films didnt do Peeta justice.

5. Twilight Series
I love Twilight, i love that its so not realistic and that Vampires are seen in a different way than in other stories. However Edward should be way better looking in the film!

6. Pointless Book 1 & 2
I love these books, they're great boredom killers. If i have ten minutes to spare with nothing to do i pick up a pointless book open it on a random page and do what it says. I have also as I've worked through these dated the pages so in years to come i can look back and think aah yes i did that on that day.

7. We're Going On A Bear Hunt
My list had to include my favorite children's book as i read alot of these at work. I really like this story as the children can really get involved helping make the noises of the obsticals and this seems to be a story i can hold attention on as sometimes this is difficult.

8.

9.

10.

Thats my almost Top Ten. I recently baught some new books so if i ever get a chance to read them who knows they might end up on here! Do you recommend any books i should read?

Day 4

Hello There,

So day 4 of Top Ten week and my Top Ten favourite TV shows/ series.

1. CSI- crime scene investigation.
I love this show and i am determined to watch every episode, however i dont like the other CSI programmes such as Miami, I'm very picky and only like the Vegas one.

2. Vampire Diaries
I love love love this show, the amout of shouting at the TV that i do and crying at this show is unreal. Not to mention how much i really like Stephan and Damon. Such a good show even if it doesnt follow the books.

3. Grimm
I love this show even though it often freaks me out! I love the unique twist on the grimm brothers fairytales and all the interesting plot twists that you dont see coming. It definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat.

4. Casualty
Again i love this show and find each week interesting because you never know whats going to happen, much like a real A&E. Sometimes though i find my self hiding behind a pillow when i know someone is going to get injured, some of them you don't really want to see! This is another show that has made me cry on numerous occasions.

5. Scorpion
This is a recent favourite as there has only been one series. However i have found this very interesting as the group of geniuses the show is based around you cant help but love. I really hope that there is going to be another series as i love this show and Paige and Walter need to get together!

6. Catfish
This show amazes me every week with how easy it is to decieve someone and how we need to be careful online. It also makes me think of the friends I've made from twitter, am i really talking to who they say they are or are they someone different? Hmm

7. Ross Nobles Freewheeling
I absolutely love Ross Noble and he was the first comedian i have seen live. He's crazy and extremely funny and the format for the show is great because we as his twitter followers basically tell him what to do and he chooses the weirdest of things!

8. Celebrity Juice
Another one I'm quite fond of even though i often think can this really be on TV? My favorite episode though has had to be The Wanted special, i laughed so much at that one!

9. Waterloo Road
I love this show and was absolutely gutted when i knew it was ending. Everyone wishes there school was more exciting but i dont think that school could have been, a brilliant show though and everyone played really good characters within it.

10. Friends
I mean this one doesnt require an explanation really. Who doesnt love friends and want a group of friends just like them?

And thats my Top Ten TV shows as of today. It will be interesting to see of these change at all as i dont really watch much other TV than these. What are your favorites?

Top Ten Week Day 3

Hello there,

So day three and my Top 10 favourite films.

1.       The Harry Potter series- For me there's nothing better than a good ol' Harry Potter Marathon especially when I'm ill. I have watched these films sooo many times and when my sister moved out and took the DVD's I went out and bought the box set again.

2.       The Day After Tomorrow- This film is one of my favourites and has been for a long time. what makes it even more of my favourite is that my granddad also really likes this film and for some reason had it twice on DVD so he let me have one, so thanks granddad.

3.       White House Down- I have become obsessed with this film! it is now a film that I just put on if I cant be bothered to search for a DVD or search all the way through sky movies on demand. I don't know what I'll do when its not on demand anymore.

4.       Lilo & Stitch- One of my favourite films from when I was younger. I love Stitch! The idea you can have an alien experiment as a pet is brilliant!

5.       Monster Inc.- Another favourite of mine from when I was younger. I still have the first DVD I ever bought of it. the DVD also has a game on it too and I just love it! I'm not quite as keen on Monsters University though but I did go and see it at the cinema when it first came out, we were the oldest in the cinema without children oops!

6.       Hunger Games Series- I love these films! Although from reading the books the characters I feel should look different to what they do but I still love the films and have cried at the first one many times. I just cant cope when Rue dies.

7.       Divergent- I really like this film, I watched it before I read any of the books and was a little confused to begin with but one I read the book and re watched things became a whole lot clearer I cant wait to see the others in the series.

8.       A Cinderella Story- I love this film and spent weeks searching the shops for it to no avail, ordered it off of the internet then the next time we went shopping bam it was there! its such a good film and I really like Hillary Duff and Chad Michael Murray in it.

9.       Transformers Series- These are a very recent addition to the list as I went to see the fourth movie without seeing the rest since watching them all through once and not understanding what was going on I had a week where I watched them each night.  since doing that I have found I actually really like the films and find the graphics on them amazing!

10.    Maze Runner- This one is on the list because I found the film really good and I can not wait to read the books but it didn't half confuse me.  I literally have no idea what happened in this film but I found it very intriguing, I love fantasy films and this was a very good example of just that. (Plus the actress who plays Effy from Skins was in it and I think she is brilliant.)
Ok so I may have cheated a little by putting series but its so hard to choose just one film in a series don't you think?
See you tomorrow! (Or should i say later because i forgot to upload this yesterday!)

Day 2 of Top Ten Week

Top 10 Week

Hello there,

Its day 2 of top 10 week and what better way to follow on from yesterday then my Top 10 favourite artists?

1.   Ed Sheeran- I mean the mix of his voice, the lyrics to his songs and his skills on his guitar he has to be top of the list.  Not to mention he's the best artist I have ever seen live.

2.   Sam Smith- Again his voice gives me goose bumps and the lyrics are just amazing.

3.   The Script- The accent is a big factor on this one as I could quite happily listen to them talk all day never mind their amazing music and beautiful lyrics,

4.   Lawson- I love love love Lawson and have done ever since I first saw them on tour with The Wanted in 2011. These had to be in this list as I have seen them the most out of everyone that I have seen (I've seen them 9 times).

5.   The Wanted- Now these boys hold a special place in my heart, they were the first ever concert I went to and became the reason for so many amazing things in my life, such as Ameerah. Their music, Wanted Wednesday videos and emails always made me smile even when I was having a tough day and even though they have taken a break at the moment those videos and emails still make my day.

6.   Olly Murs- Well what is there to say about Mr Murs the cheeky chappy apart from he's so wonderfully talented and amazing!

7.   Mike Dignam- Another amazing lyricist, his song quite literally tell a story from 'Lungs' telling the story of two people drowning like in the Titanic to 'Beautiful Tragedy' telling the story of two cars crashing and one of the people falling in love with the other in that instant but the other person dies. I've mad him sound really depressing there but he has some amazing upbeat music too that always puts a smile on my face. Mikes also the most loveliest person to meet.

8.   5 Seconds of Summer- Aaaah the Australian chaps. I have loved these since I saw them on tour with 1D in 2013 and absolutely loved their album when it came out.  they are also some of the most played artists on my IPod.

9.   One Direction- These are here purely for their music as I have an differing views on 1D, sometimes I cant stand them but other times I love them but the constant is most definitely their music as I really enjoy listening to them.

10.  Alex Goot- I'm not really sure if he counts as an artist? he has albums out so I'm going with he is.  He's one of my favourite youtubers and I always get excited when I see he's uploaded a new cover.  I'm not usually good with covers of songs I don't generally enjoy them but I love most of Mr Goots, there's only the odd few I don't like.

So that's my Top Ten Favourite Artists of the minute. Who are yours? And I'll see you tomorrow for day three of Top Ten week.
